Who we are (right now): We live in a small arts town in British Columbia, set amidst hikeable mountains, a clean refreshing lake and many wild creatures (both furry ones and clean shaven). One fall day, canoeing with our two young children and loyal dog, we came upon a special sort of place…one that was hidden away, accessed by boat, yet so close to this vibrant town responsible for attracting artists, skiers, music lovers and hikers. We walked down a dirt road and found this forested gem, a place where the birds sing some crazy songs, deer bed down frequently and wild lily of the valley grow. A place isolated yet so connected…a place we knew we had to share as a retreat for others.
